Mark Carrapezza

Born in and raised outside of Boston, Mark has traveled the USA and the world studying, performing, and teaching both magic and music. He arrived on Nantucket in 2004 to launch his idea for an after-school media literacy course, teaching youth how media is made through writing, storyboarding, lighting, acting, directing, filming, audio recording, and editing. Since then, Mark has appeared in dozens of Theatre Workshop of Nantucket productions, performed in hundreds of magic shows on the island, produced large-scale interactive artworks, and taught creativity and art at the Nantucket New School. In his free time, Mark writes original songs and short stories, creates art of all sorts, and enjoys taking walks in nature. Although he often reminisces about the various places he's lived like Memphis, Martha's Vineyard, Los Angeles, New York City, and Rishikesh, he always enjoys where he is present.
