Nantucket Community Television (NCTV) is proud to announce it has received five national awards from the 2025 Home Town Media Awards, a competition hosted by the Alliance for Community Media that celebrates excellence in community media production across the U.S. These awards recognize both professional and independent creators. Special Note: This project was a collaboration amongst the Town of Nantucket, the Nantucket High School (NHS), the Nantucket Current, and NCTV. We want to congratulate JohnCarl McGrady (NHS class of 2021) who designed an exit poll focused exclusively on Nantucket voters. It served as the foundation of the discussions in this coverage, thanks to the analysis by Jason Graziadei (Editor in Chief of the Current), Mary Wawro (Treasurer of Nantucket Democratic Town Committee), & Toby Brown (Chair of Nantucket Republican Town Committee). Last, but not least, the exit poll would not have been possible without the tireless work of Nancy Christie and her Honors Government class at NHS. They made the exit poll scientifically accurate by interviewing over 350 Nantucket voters!
